Paula joined HRDAG as a Research Scholar, for a term lasting from November, 2022 through March, 2023.

Since 2021, she has worked as a Data Scientist at the Commission for Truth, Coexistence and Non-repetition in Colombia, contributing to different projects including “Violencia Sindical en Colombia.”  She also co-authored the report “Panorama general sobre las violaciones al DIH,” with Patrick Ball and Alejandro Castro, preparing data, generating tables, and creating automated and by-hand tests to assure that the results were internally consistent.

Paula holds a BA in economics from the Universidad Central (Bogotá, Colombia). In October 2019, Paula was the winner of the “Concurso Nacional de Ponencias Jesús António Bejarano,” where she presented her undergraduate thesis “Deforestación en Colombia. Evaluación de Impacto del Acuerdo de Paz con las FARC – EP”.
