Using machine learning to make sense
of massive caches of data

Sometimes our partners receive critical records as thousands of documents in hard to access formats, such as PDFs, or printed or hand-written forms. We bring a valuable tool to their advocacy work by transforming mountains of unusable documents into searchable, structured information, such as a database, which they can use in their mission to seek accountability in their communities.

Our work has been used by truth commissions, international criminal tribunals, and non-governmental human rights organizations. We have worked with partners on projects on five continents.
