HRDAG’s Year in Review: 2025
This year at HRDAG we re-dedicated ourselves to a shared clarity of purpose, grounded in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our recommitment has been compelled by a dramatic shift in the political environment in the United States that has resulted in the targeting, discrediting, and silencing of institutions involved in human rights work. Today, we are witnessing human rights violations in the U.S. similar to the ones we have been documenting for decades overseas.
In the face of tyranny, we will not be silent.
Our 2025 Year in Review explains what it means to us to stand up to tyranny, why we do it, and the risks we assume by doing so. In the report, we also express our faith in community and data. The report is available as a 4-page pdf as well.
Once again, we’re grateful to our funders and our advisory board for supporting us, and we’re honored that they stand with us in our convictions. I hope the report inspires you. (Reports are also available from 2018 through 2025 here.)
